Therapy can be very helpful when you want a trained professional to work alongside you as you explore your thoughts and feelings about life challenges or personal issues.Working through emotional distress is essential to our well-being but sometimes we cannot do this on our own or even with friends.
Often working things through with someone alongside can help you make sense of what you are feeling and how you are reacting to things which invoke stress, depression, sadness or other strong emotions.Therapy is not about giving advice or telling you what to do. It will enable you to understand and value yourself more and give you space to begin to look at patterns of behaviour and coping strategies to help you through.
